The Jefferson County Fair, an old vcitorian house, pigs, kids on a school bus, Lucky's Bait and Tack Shop, John Brown's hanging, May Day Queens, black snakes, a graveyard, and boyscouts cutting a flag; just a few of the subjects photographically interpreted by seven photographers working on "The Jefferson County Photography Project" from July 2009 trhough May 2010. The project, supported by a grant through The Art Alliance and Humanities of Jefferson County, was director by photographer, Benita Keller. The project with photo workshops was designed to promote the art process of black and white film photography in Jefferson County, West Virginia. Photographers in the project were Jessical Hartman, Joanna Pecha, C. Mason, Benita Keller, Carl Shutlz, Rip Smith and Frank Robbins. Proceeds from the sale of this book go to AHA to advance another photograhy project.
