A wonderful week exploring Paris, Avignon, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Arles and Aix en Provence followed by a week of cycling in the French Alps. Our cycling trip included riding part of stages 8 and 9 of the Tour de France and then watching the same stages finish only hours later. The Tour de France is like Super Bowl Sunday everyday and the trip itself was the trip of a lifetime.....every day! Seeing what those athletes are capable of compared to the small portion of the Tour that we accomplished, was humbling.

Everyone who rides a road bike and loves it, should put seeing the Tour de France live, on their bucket list. Take or rent a bike and try a few of the climbs...a serious eye opener about endurance!
