"Burst" represents my first true journey into macro photography and plant life. Not necessarily a journey I wish to continue on as there are many other areas of photography I'm yet to try but this has been an eye opener and very enjoyable experience. The book is a collection of photos from over the last year or so representing what I feel have either been the surprises or simply the satisfying scenes of being at the right place at the right time. So much plant life and insect life is a lot more interesting close up and whilst some enjoy a flower in all its glory, I feel that getting so close to see the texture of that plant becomes so much more interesting, surreal and beautiful. I enjoyed the project very much and hope you like what you see.
