Deborah Bowman, Ph.D. leads a creative and full life as a photographer, psychologist and Professor at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. A practicing artist for over 25 years she is currently breaking ground in combining photography with the words of the Buddha. Her scholarship is grounded in the practice and study of Buddhism and world wisdom traditions. Deborah's vision inspires contemplation, serenity and delight. Photography became a way to play with light and color while interacting with the people, traditions and beauty of the world. She has shown her work in galleries in Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming and Kansas. Now seeking a broader audience, her book and photography are available world wide. Deborah's work explores the significance of spiritual iconography on the psyche. Her lectures and slide presentations are offered nationwide. She currently teaches Gestalt and Jungian approaches to creativity and healing with the Boulder Psychotherapy Institute.
