A veteran Canadian journalist who has worked on daily and community newspapers in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Ontario, Jay Underwood has published twelve books on Nova Scotia railway history, with more projects "in the works."
He covers topics never previously examined in conventional histories, and seeks to correct some age-old errors and misconceptions.
