Claire James Steinberg has a long and exciting career in the photographic world. She is a photojournalist, fine art photographer, and teacher of art and photography.

Early in her career she worked in New York, as Picture Editor of Popular Photography Annuals and magazines, and then worked as a freelancer for magazines and book publishers.

Claire's photographs are in major museum collections in the United States and abroad, as well as in private collections.

She continues to exhibit limited edition photographiic portfolios.

Presently working in the digital medium, she uses Nikon and Canon cameras.
