A Home is not a place, a city, a village, a piece of ground. Nor is it a building with four walls, a floor and a roof. A Home cannot be contained in one place, confined by wood, steel or brick.
A Home is a state of mind. It is an emotion as real as love or fear. It is an emotion woven into the fabric of one's spirit, an emotion that continues to grow throughout a life time.
Many secrets lie hidden within the Home in every spirit, but Secrets Don't Rest in Peace.

About the Author

Jeannie Foxx-VanderMarliere
Jfoxx Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, USA
I started writing as a child. My uncle was a combat soldier in the Korean War, and I wrote letters to him every week. I write to entertain. I want to tell a story that will help the reader shed personal worries and concerns to become immersed in someone else's "real world." I have been married 46 wonderful years and three ify years to the same man! (Com'on, no one has a totally "perfect" nearly 50 year marriage.) Together we raised our five children in all four time zones in the U.S. We had many adventures moving around the country and some of those adventures will be in future books. I am now retired from the business world and have time to indulge my passion to entertain with words.

Having known the author since 1962...we corresponded through the 'letters of a lifetime' - with great 'talent as a writer'...erupting on every page. Our letters were mini-stories in themselves! Jeannie is strong in character, her love of family & friends. Caring & gentle. She is one of the funniest women I have ever had the priviledge of knowing. On the phone, we end up laughing til we cry! I cannot wait until this nylon strand, becomes a string of Pearls, with every edition she writes. 5 Stars!
Her dear friend, Karen Sue.

This is a great little 'always keeps you guessing' mystery and you are drawn in to the history of every family member and the 'how & why' of their particular actions, through 'journals' that are mysteriously found by
"Jorja"....and you learn as she does. Parts of the innertwined puzzle, comes together right before your eyes. I loved it. Come on Jeannie, bring us another! love & respect, applauds you. Karen Sue Cuzzort
