About the Book
This book is a selection of dramatic photographic images by Robin S. Kent of the Washington, D.C. area. Most were taken during the twilight hours of morning and evening, a special time called "the magic hour" by many photographers. Using a compass and knowledge of the solar and lunar cycles, Kent has captured scenes rarely seen by people living in or visiting the nation's capital city.
