About the Book
It is my enchantment with convergence which has brought me to - photography, it's form and manner allowing me to collect these junctures for a more leisurely estimation. Behind this front of social production my practice has allowed me to slip into the roles of tracker, detective, observer (voyeur even), reporter, scientist, magician, and fool.

About the Creator
Emily Davidson is a New Zealand artist primarily known for her work with traditional photographic media, her practice embraces a wide range of technologies ranging from antique photo processes to traditional painting and drawing media ~ she also works with modern art processes when she feels it to be appropriate and has a fondness for obsolete office equipment. She frequently uses technologies to ends which the designers probably wouldn't have anticipated and can often be observed scouring second hand stores (and occasionally dumpsters) for items she can use to achieve these nefarious technological plans. Her primary training as an artist has been in painting, drawing, jewellery, textile art, metal work, discrete mathematics, writing, sculpture, bookmaking, borderline obsessive collecting, and photography. She despises writing about herself and as such prefers to write in the third person when obligated to do so.
