About the Book
Nilton da Silva Rosa was a Brazilian refugee in Chile who was killed by an Ultraright militant in June 1973. He was honored at a massive funeral 2 days later.
My photographs of this enormously moving event could not be published at the time because they would have helped Pinochet's forces isdentify, torture and butcher more left wing people. The text includes a short explanation of the situation and one of his poems in Spanish & English.
