Now & Then
A reminscence project with documented collection of stories and images acknowledging a community of elders experiencing dementia.
by Jill Carter & Hilda Sheehan
A reminiscence project with elders experiencing dementia - a collection of documented stories, photographs, poetry and drawings celebrating the individual journeys of a community. This book is a rich visual resource for memory recall and enrichment.
I am a digital storyteller. I love creating journals and badly behaved short run or one off art books/bags/bundles crammed full with quirky drawings, insightful and humorous text, photographs and archives of curios and found objects. As a visual artist, fine art trained, my practice explores how art can develop insight and inspiration, inspire creativity, acting as a catalyst for positive change, creativity and well-being. A natural chronicler, collector and curator, I enjoy playful, poetic and performative ways of responding to people, places and life.
