For three years, I took pictures on and off of a painted white "ghost bike" in the Lower East Side. When the bike disappeared, I collected the photos and assembled them into this book. Seeing the bike become weathered by the elements is just as fascinating to me as watching it remain in the same place on a city sidewalk for years at a time. You too might find it interesting to watch this bike as the world goes on around it.
