This is not just a book, but a celebration of life in the city. The photographs were taken while on my many travels between September 2008 and July 2010.
Moving to and living in the city made me grow in exponential ways. The city became everything to me. I escaped all of my problems by exploring and taking photographs, which led me to see more than just buildings. I saw different ways of life from the past, present and future. The book reveals this. Everything old is new again. It becomes timeless and classic.
Many people wonder what my life was like in Chicago. This book shows everything I was able to accomplish between 2008 and 2010. I was extremely fortunate to be able to travel around the city as much as I did.
My goal was to create new ways of showing photographs rather than one after the other. I hope you enjoy looking at this book. Let your mind wander and be free.
This was my second Book of Photography.

kyle, you have created a terrific book! The creative and artistic approach in presentation captures Chicago wonderfully. This book alone will raise the tourist numbers in Chicago!

After looking through the book it is tough to imagine you wanted to move away from it! You owned Chicago in this incredible visual exploration of the city. Gotta go catch my mind for yes, I did let it wander...

Wow, Kylie. The most amazing book I have seen in a very long time. Every page drips with history, colour and texture. I love the detail and the mix of past and present. Each page is a work of art. Each page also shows your love and respect of the place and how you have taken the trouble to understand its stories and nuances. I just love it!!
