About the Book
This 120 page, "coffee table style" book features almost 150 photographs taken in late June and early July 2010 that show the true grandeur of Alaska. The photographs begin in the Alaskan interior at Fairbanks and continue southward through one of the grandest national parks in the world, the spectacular Denali. From there, a few photos show the fog and snow of the Kenai. Among the most majestic photographs are those of taken in College Fjord and Glacier Bay. They can be described as mesmerizing. Areas in and around Haines, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan are captured in their most magnificent - orcas, humpback whales, bald eagles, and the mystery of Misty Fjords National Monument. This is a book you will want to leave on your coffee table and share with your friends. This is the third book published by Sam and Mary Cunningham. The others are New Mexico Splendor and Nature's Splendor.
