About the Book
This book showcases the photographic art work of Karin Angele -- in classic as well as abstract modern forms.
The subject of her work is "Istanbul," both in her paintings and in this spellbinding eponymous book. The arrangement of the images are rhythmically based on the unique linguistic structure of the Turkish language. The book is a glimpse into the massive collection of exquisite photographs captured by Karin Angele during her enraptured four-week exploration of Istanbul’s colours, shapes, fragrances, and moods.

Welcome ! I work in several areas in the field of art, and my photographs have typically served as an inspiration for my paintings. This time, however, I've decided to also show my work in its innate camera form. My latest painting and digital printing work, "Istanbul," was shown in Istanbul at the 29th Istanbul Tüyap Art and Book Fair, the National History Museum in Tbilisi, Georgia, and in the Izmail Gallery / Odessa Art Museum, in Odessa, Ukraine. I hope that you'll enjoy these images as much as I do. Karin Angele
