About the Book
Nature's Musings abstracts away from the "what" to focus on the beautiful mosaics of lines, colors, and textures Mother Earth tucks away, often right before our eyes.
Each image is a picture of nature as captured by my camera; works of art created by the powerful forces of nature, aided only by extraordinary natural light, undistorted by our modern technologies.
By shooting outside the box, I ignore the "what", remove scale, and make nature's lines, colors, and textures my subject matter.
Ashley Adams is a San Francisco, CA based landscape and nature abstract photographer. Ashley strives to provide a modern and fresh perspective to landscape photography in every one of her photographs. Ashley has a BFA from the Academy of Art University. Her work has been displayed in numerous galleries and private collections across the country. Ashley has also been featured in publications such as Photo Induced, Art Acts, and the North American Nature Photography Association's Expressions Magazine. Whether by manipulating scale or simply finding the unexpected lines, colors, and textures that are so often overlooked in the natural world, Ashley makes her viewers look at nature through a different perspective.
