Hong is home to photographer Ray Laskowitz who lived there for almost six years. He continues to photograph a Chinese place with a western eye steeped in Asian tradition.
ray was born to be a photographer. After many years on the newspaper side of photojournalism as a photographer, editor and director of photography, he switched shooting styles and moved into a more commercial world. Today, he lives by the creed of on of his past subjects, who said "I am not afraid of color." Ray shoots for a whole host of clients.
