Formally trained by world accredited painter Dave Archer, a master a reverse glass painting, and the line drawing, VINCENT eagerly absorbed as much information as possible during the years that he worked beside David as his only invited student of reverse glass painting and close personal friend. "Those days were pure magic," claims VINCENT, and VINCENT plans on releasing additional editions of Paintings on the Reverse Side of Glass in the near future.

For now, and possibly ever, VINCENT does not paint on glass. This is for several reasons. Number one, he doesn't have a great artist like Dave Archer to work with and inspire him, and two, he don't have the space, not withstanding––the lacquer. A specific lacquer is a vital and necessary component of creating this type of art. It is no longer available. Without the correct lacquer, glass painting is impossible.

Because of the cost of his books, VINCENT has increased the price set by blurb by only 5% in the hopes of exposing more people to his work through his publications. He hopes you enjoy his portfolio, and be sure to visit VINCENT'S website at

About the Author

Vincent Stone
vncstone Keizer, OR, Marion County

A veteran painter of 20 years, VINCENT has studied under several great artists including Kathleen Bracamontes, George Kaforus, and David Archer, each adding to his personal experience as a painter and creator of fine art. Currently he is exploring new mediums and avenues of expression in art. VINCENT claims to be a driven artist, and feels that he must create. VINCENT spends a lot of his time making art in order to satisfy his angst, and he has explored many mediums, but his explorations always lead him back to painting. Some of his current works include religious and political pieces, including new influences such as the classic works of The Hudson School and other traditional American Schools of art. Take some time to visit VINCENT’S website at, he may be contacted there as well. VINCENT welcomes your comments and opinions of his work on his BLOG on the website also.
