Au Bord de la Mer chronicles the scenery of Maine's coastal Route 1 through the medium of photography. The viewer can take a journey from York Beach in the south of Maine up north to the Canadian border town of Calais. Accompanying several of the book's images are poems of the author.
Beth Brown is a native of Sidney, NY. Currently she is residing in Brooklyn and teaching middle school as well as pursuing her love of photography. She is a member of Professional Photographers of Greater New York and The Cooperstown Art Association. Beth received an Award of Merit for the 2013 CAA Regional Juried Art Exhibition. She was a 2012 & 2013 Guest Artist at the Smithy Pioneer Gallery in Cooperstown, NY. The Brooklyn Tabernacle’s 2012 mission ministry trip to the Dominican Republic was documented by her photos.
