For over two decades of my earlier life in Taiwan, travel meant taking a bus or train from one town to another across the island. After graduating from college, I decided to go overseas to study and see the bigger world.
I later become a citizen of America, a permanent residence of Singapore, and a traveler trekking everywhere from the Great Wall of China to Machu Picchu in South America. No matter where I go though, people remind me that I am not a local because I speak English with a strong accent. And deep down in my heart, I am always a Taiwanese who is very friendly, passionate, and outspoken in life.
Before making this photo album, I felt that Taiwan was not pretty. After completion, I found that Taiwan is different from any other places because it is part of me.
