"...Despite the rainy weather, I walked a lot, reasoning that sitting in a metro carriage doesn't expose one to much of the city. The photographs are a result of this dedicated pedestrianism. Most famous attractions had substantial queues waiting to enter, so I passed by, preferring the changing scenes and my own footfalls to the prospect of hours standing listening to tourist chatter. The result is a flawed exterior vision, a superficial sighting of a dumb, grey Paris to which I would like to return."
