A visual exploration of cultural anthropology in modern, consumer society through photography, looking at commercialism, protest and propaganda in signage.
The photographs that make up this body of work come from personal and professional assignments dating back to about 1996.
I chose a square format for this book so that all the images, whether vertical or horizontal, would feature at the same size.
There's an image on each page and on each spread the two images play off each other in hopes of creating some wit and tension.
This is a detailed little book. One that you can really get your teeth into.
When previewing, please expand the view to full screen to best appreciate it.
I hope you enjoy it and that you'll tell your friends and colleagues about it.
Thank you for your time.
