Abstract Naive Egyptian Art, In memory of vivacious Artist Helenka Bimstein, beloved by all who knew her. Images of her paintings, parties with family, friends and a little bit about her.
In the past, as a painter and sculptor, I have also created commissioned public art installations. Currently, as a photographer, I apply a painter's eye to the process of selecting, framing and composing the image.
At seven years old, I had no problem hooking my own bait for the chance to fish with him on the pier. This among other independent actions, made my father proud of me and is one of the many memories of our sacred, silent bonding ritual. We stood patiently together with the water holding our gaze, our thoughts free to wander and ponder possibility in peaceful silence.
Now I am exploring the ways in which some images penetrate a disarmed consciousness and bring forth an introspection of memories, feelings and possibilities.
