Years ago, I embarked on a journey… A journey born of Styrofoam balls, old window screens, cotton balls, wine corks, light bulbs, and of course, the versatile pipe cleaner... A journey into the depths of musty basements, dusty attics, and the deep recesses of closets and backyard sheds. Through cobwebs and mothball-scented thrift stores, I fought to uncover the most awe-full holiday ornaments ever.
Thus, Awe-full Ornaments was born – a photo book of ugly, tacky, funny, kitschy or otherwise, awe-full holiday ornaments.
This holiday humor book by photographer Jason Tinacci makes a great gift.
Who’s the madman behind the camera that’s behind the ornaments? Uh, that would be me… I’m Jason Tinacci, and I have no shame saying that I’m utterly amused by ugly holiday ornaments and the joy they bring. I’m also not ashamed to wear this terrible sweater. When I’m not scouring the world for ornaments, I shoot professional commercial, portrait and lifestyle photography.
