Cameron Hampton American 1968

Cameron Hampton's work has been described as dark realism. She uses traditional mediums combined with modern materials and digital mediums to create dire, gritty, macabre and dark imagery.

Hampton is a Masters Circle Member of the International Association of Pastel Societies, earning her Gold Medal in the Spring of 2007, a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America, the Southeastern Pastel Society and the Alabama Pastel Society.

She has exhibited in over one hundred exhibitions including many one woman shows and has many works in corporate and private collections.

She has been published in many magazines such as Blue Canvas Magazine, the London based Quarto Publishing book, “Sketching and Drawing: Tips, Techniques and Shortcuts” , the Ripperologist Magazine and the Japanese Artist Magazine, Ichi-mai no E.

Hampton attended both Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York and The Atlanta College of Art (now SCAD).
