Tom Brown is a lifetime fine artist. His work has been represented through prominent galleries in nine states for more than 20 years. His paintings are in prominent corporate collections and have been seen in Southwest Art, Art & Antiques, American Art Review, American Art Collector, Art Calendar and other leading art publications.
He is a former president of the Orange Art Association and past member of the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association and Southern California Plein Air Painters Association. He has won numerous awards in plein air painting competitions.
Tom Brown has lived in Southern California since the 1980s. He works in the Impressionist style, and his oil paintings are known for their bold, confident brushwork that vibrates with energy and strength. He has a rare talent for capturing the magic and beauty of his subjects, which include landscapes, still life and figurative paintings.
