From early June until September 2010, Kevin and Alicia Shea became nomads, traveling from their home just outside of Boston to the mountains and rivers of Montana, Idaho and Wyoming.
They packed up their Ford Escape and two Thule boxes and headed out. They stayed with friends, camped, house sat and home-exchanged, all the while enjoying big open spaces, beautiful scenery and fabulous hiking and fishing.
Thirteen thousand miles later, they finally returned home.
Kevin kept a blog all along the way. This book is the "hard copy" of that blog and includes all of his blog entries and photographs.
Kevin's wit and beautiful photographs will engage anyone, from those with a love of the outdoors and adventure to couch potatoes.
"I lived vicariously through Kevin's blog. I couldn't wait to get on my computer each day and see what Kevin and Alicia were up to, and what gorgeous scenery I would be treated to. It was almost as good as being there." ... G.B.
