SIX CHAPTERS

A "tour de force" through different aspects of the South Korean society. Six Chapters was shot during the G20 Summit 2010 and is a highly existentialist approach towards the Culture of Protest and Ritual as well as a reflection on the Mega-City Seoul.

The author Benjamin Hiller is a professional photographer and journalist living in Berlin/Germany.

Benjamin Hiller is a young photographer and journalist living in Berlin, Germany. He was born in 1982 into a German-American family and was raised with a humanistic and cosmopolitan world-view. After studying ethnology (i.e. social anthropology with majors in ritual and dynamics, as well as visual anthropology) for several semesters at the Heidelberg university he moved to Nuremberg to absolve a professional trade school for photography. His main fields in photography are the traditional coverage of social and political conflicts as well as capturing the essence of his subjects in the field of People/Portrait photography. His coverage of these themes have been published in the German weekly newspaper "Jungle World".
