This book is an attempt to depict some of the features of Tibetan people, as I sensed them during my trip from the Nepal border to Lhasa in August 2009:
Isolation in time and space, povery and toughness, a feeling of defeat for not ruling their own country, combined with pride for their uniqueness and religious superiority, not to forget a simple and unspoiled sense of humor.
As for the landscape, dry and clear, it emits from every angle the proximity to the sky, to the eternity, to God...
