In May 2010, Zac and Betty took a trip to China, where Betty was born and raised, but was first the visit for Zac. They visited Beijing, where they went to the famous Great Wall, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Tian An Men Square, Winter Palace, and more. Taking an overnight high speed train, they traveled to Shanghai, where Betty was on a work project, so they visited many farms in surburban Shanghai, and had a unique view of this Westernized modern city. Zac and Betty also went to Hong Kong, the Oriental Pearl, where they reunited with Betty's mom and her Uncle's family.
The whole trip was exciting. Being photographers, Zac and Betty saw the Middle Kingdom where ancient tradition and modern living coexist. Zac and Betty's wish for this photobook, containing 55 of their favorite shots from thousands of photos, will show their impression of China.
