About the Book
Maggie and I are two twenty-somethings who simply got tired of eating pre-cooked and frozen meals and decided to do something about it. Our goal here is to take the (sometimes) daunting culinary world and bring it down to the everyday level. Essentially, we're two non-chefs showing you how to cook like a chef. It's not always perfect - but it is always fun! Out Of The Culinary, a humble little blog, was born out of this dream. After over 100+ recipes in our first year, we've decided to separate the best of the best and share them in a cookbook. The 2010 edition of the Out Of The Culinary Cookbook highlights our top recipes from Coq Au Vin, all the way to pumpkin pie.
