Photo diary of Trish Owens, Vanessa and families of their guided tour of Burragorang Valley in November 2010. The area was flooded in late 1950's / early 1960's as part of the Sydney Water Warragamba Dam catchment area. Due to severe drought conditions in 2005 / 2006, the water levels dropped revealing the remnants of the family homesteads. Access is strictly restricted to displaced families of the original Burragorang Valley, under the guidance of Sydney Water rangers making this a unique pictorial record before rising water levels once again cover the area.
