Though a documentation of a 12-day driving trip the Boozes and Milanoviches took around Portugal in September 2010, this book is also full of images that show the varied landscapes throughout this small country (the size of the state of Indiana). Portugal truly is a well kept secret and could easily replace southern France and Tuscany as a prime destination for a wonderful vacation!

I am an amateur photography enthusiast who has experimented with photography for over 40 years, having started with a Canon FTb and my own darkroom setup. After visiting San Francisco in 1977, I became interested in selling small prints of sights I had photographed in Northern Virginia outside Washington, DC (USA). In addition to doing the craft show circuit, I took candid family portraits and baby pictures.
For over 8 years, I have been experimenting with digital photography and happily snap a wide variety of pictures on my travels and when at home in Central Virginia. My first serious digital camera was a Canon PowerShot S2 IS (3.2 mp), but in June 2007, I purchased my first dSLR, a Canon Rebel XTi (Digital Kiss) with the standard 18-55mm "kit" lens. I soon added a Canon EOS 28-135mm lens to my arsenal and the Speedlite 580EX II flash unit.
I am a Macintosh user and love to work with Aperture, Apple's photo management/editing software.
