Watch the love and trust develop between a child and a dog as they discover how many things they have in common.
As an elementary school teacher, artist, and dog lover, I wrote this book for my grandson, Leo.
I got Panda as a puppy and I couldn't wait for Leo to meet her. However, much to my chagrin, he was petrified when Panda jumped up on him. This photo book shows the bonding that took place in just one week. Leo was born with Down Syndrome and like so many children with special needs, he has difficulty with verbal communication. However, he has an abundance of love to give, and once he learned to trust Panda, a very unique relationship developed.

Barbara...you are fantastic. This is such a beautiful testament to Leo, to Panda, and to you as a teacher, as a Mother and as a Grandmother. Not to mention that you are a great friend. Suestan
