Born in Chattanooga, TN, J. Marcus Weekley has lived in several states in the South and North U.S.A. and Germany. In addition, Marcus has traveled to the Philippines, Venezuela, and Western Europe. He currently teaches English at a community college in Mississippi, and writes and publishes; he also quilts, and his quilts have shown at The National Quilt Museum and in other regional and local shows.
