MY PHOTOGRAPHIC DIARY is, as the title says, a diary in images; in February 2008 I started shooting a self portrait per day, and I went on until February 2009. I wanted to see how my face could change from one day to another, and if it was possible to understand, from a single image, which was the dominant emotion of the day. So, with a medium format, analog camera, I assembled a diary of one year of my life, of which you can now see 52 images.
Caterina was born in Florence (Italy) in 1981, and studied at the University of Bologna. She graduated with a thesis on the work of american photographer Francesca Woodman.
