Although Venice attracts flocks of tourists, it is possible to wander into small streets and neighborhoods to find real Venetians. This book captures them as they open their shops, have their morning coffee, do their shopping, relax and read, play, fall in love, and hurry home.
After retirement from an East Coast career in state and local government human services programs, I have moved to California to be near my grandchildren. I now have the opportunity to travel the world to connect with people of many cultures.
