During the late summer and early spring of 2010, I decided to cut some underground time out of my commute home to Brooklyn by walking to the express stop on the IRT subway line. That meant walking through the heart of Times Square, the so-called “Crossroads of the World” during the height of tourist season. I decided to mingle with the throngs and do something creative by photographing people I saw on my nine-block walk. These are some of those photographs.
