Unparalleled gem of the West Coast, Victoria presents endless possibilities for a photographer. This short photobook is an attempt to show different sides of this amazing city as it's seen through the viewfinder.

No two people see the same Victoria. She has something for everyone any time of the year - a bustling core, ethereal forests, peaceful lakes, towering mountains and the ever-changing ocean shores, all within a thirty-minute drive. It's no wonder that each visitor discovers his or her own Victoria. Explore it on your own, take a guided tour or follow a local friend - and the city will show you a new face.

A photographer's paradise she is, Victoria. Just as locals enjoy showing visitors around their cherished city, a photographer is eager to share his visions. This book is meant to share some of mine. Let's look at Victoria through my lens. Let's start amongst the spring blooms, stroll lazily through summer dreams, inhale the autumn's freshness and enjoy the winter chill.

This is my Victoria, as I want to share it.

Whether you shoot with modern DSLR or a pocket camera, you will find yourself clicking non-stop when cruising all over the city and its attractions. Hopefully the photographs in this book will inspire your creative vision.

About the Author

Vadym Graifer
threei Victoria BC, Canada

I started in photography at the age of 8 in Ukraine with a primitive camera, developing my own films and printing in an improvised darkroom.

The digital era inspired a new wave in a life-long hobby. My photos won contests by Victoria and Seattle-based tourism agencies and companies.

My specialty is nature abstracts and landscapes, both man-made and natural, I am a fan of deep rich colors.
