The Third Day is a celebration of the natural world in all its splendor. The images, all of which were made in New England by photographer Rebecca Metschke, are paired with excerpts from Scripture for unique visual representations of the Word. (10x8, 114 pages)
Rebecca is a New England-based photographer whose primary focus is the landscape. A native Midwesterner, she moved to New Hampshire by way of Los Angeles in 1994 and has been exploring and photographing her adopted state - from the shoreline in the southeast to the Great North Woods near the Canadian border - ever since.

Rebecca,
Very nice book. You show such sensitivity in the work, with a range from things on a grand scale, but also subjects that could have been easily overlooked. But you caught them - and have passed them on for others to behold. Very fine diversity - very pleasant to look at. Thank you.
