Though largely self-taught, Greenberg studied at the Art Students League during the late 1990s. He also holds an advanced degree in History from the CUNY Graduate Center. He has written two book published by Rowman and Littlefield/ Lexington Books: "The Dangers of Dissent" (2010) and "Surveillance in America" (2012).
