In 2010, I photographed twenty-five couples and small groups of siblings all living and working in Tuscany. I collected their stories and took their portraits, to let their faces and lives speak of the extraordinary yet common experience of being brothers and sisters as well as of the transformations that the Italian family – and the idea of it – is going through in this corner of the country.
I was born in January 1985. I am a freelance documentary photographer based in Florence, Italy. I am alumni of the lovely MA Photojournalism at the University of Westminster in London and of the BA Photography and Visual Arts at Libera Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence, where I also help as a co-teacher, making books with and for the students.
