The Hanna Project: Save-a-Life III
This photojournal chronicles an unable-to-be-forgotten fifteen day odyssey by the members of the THP 2008 team to Cote d'Ivoire, West Africa. A country torn by war, poverty, illness, it is truly a corner of the world forgotten by most.

Come rejoice with the Hanna team as they remember the highlights: performing multiple successful surgeries in a "bush hospital", some even by flashlight; handing out thousands of school supply kits to children, many of whom have never had even a pencil of their very own; building a concrete basketball court for students who had nowhere to play; sharing a message of hope with those whose hope had grown pale. But, in the end, you must also come ache with the team as they find surgical cases too complicated for them to touch; as they send one of their own off by helicopter; as they come to the end of their supplies; and even more difficult, as they come to the end of their time in this desolate corner of Africa...the end of their time with lines of people left waiting...

A photojournal you WILL remember...

An incredible medium for preserving and remembering special times, places and faces which so often fade over the years, photobooks have come into their own in recent years, and in the print-on-demand self-publishing world, Blurb.com is one of the pack leaders.

A freelance photographer with a style that's an eclectic mix of photojournalism (documentary) and fine art photography (you can think of it as National Geographic with a splash of Vanity Fair or Elle!), I treasure the opportunity to put together custom photobooks for my clients using the services of Blurb.com.
