This book is a photographic essay of a journey undertaken in 2010, from Lake Nakuru in south western Kenya, to Lake Naivasha and Loita Hills, and then into the mighty and legendary Masai Mara.
From the Mara, we crossed into Tanzania, through Arusha, and onto the rich Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The wide sweeping plains of the Serengeti then beckoned, along with a palpable primeval throb, and the sense of intrinsic danger which the mighty Rift Valley exudes.
From the Serengeti, we journeyed towards Kiliminjaro, and the beautiful Usumbara Mountains of north-east Tanzania, and from there to the pulsing port city of Dar es Salaam. The expedition then finished in Zanzibar, in the World Heritage listed Stone Town, and soaking up the sun on the pristine beaches of Kendwa.
