About the Book
This book has over 100 of my photographs that were taken between 2007 and January 1, 2011. The book is loosely arranged by topics and is in no chronological order. I had three goals in making this book; 1) to illustrate some of the beautiful scenery, both urban and rural that we have her in the West and in particular Arizona; 2) show the broad range of interests that I have in photography; and 3) to possibly show how my photography has progressed in an almost four-year period.
This book was published strictly for my personal interest, but should you find it of interest I hope you will purchase a copy. Also, let me know what you think.

About the Creator
Born in St. Louis, MO, but moved to Memphis when I was 18 months old. Moved to Walnut Creek, CA, when I was 12. Consider Memphis and Walnut Creek as my home towns. I met my wife the week before classes started my freshman year at Humboldt State and we were married during Spring break our junior year. I have lived in 10 states and have visited 49, still need to get to South Dakota. Photography is just one of many interests that I have or have had. Others include: cycling, cooking, brewing beer, and roasting coffee (I think there is a bit of a theme in those last few. I am also a rail fan. Photography is strictly a hobby. I did my first wedding January 1, 2011. While I would like to get a few paying assignments (mad money for more gear) I want photography to always be fun. At the end of 2009 I did set up a website, just in case I got more serious with my photography; http://www.laveenphotography.com.
