The 'T' is the local name for the subway system serving the Boston, Massachusetts metropolitan area. The system consists of five lines, of which the Green Line is the oldest.
The Green Line serves a quarter of a million passengers each day.
The photographs in this book are candid portraits of passengers on the portion of the Green Line running between the North Station and Kenmore Square stops.
