About the Book
This is a retrospective collection of photographs from one year in the corner of South Wales where the author was born. 1969, the year in focus, was Roger's 17th year. This book represents the first significant project in a photographic journey that, in later years, would document Roger's life in the Middle East, Greece and Ireland, as well as on tours of European cities, Australia and New Zealand. Roger's main photographic focus has always been the lived environment, and people, or evidence of people, feature strongly in his work.
