Original photographic Images on and from the beach at Borth, Ceredigion, Wales, UK. The images capture the intriguing relationship between the sea, the groynes and the stones as well as the coastal landscape. Little did I know when I took these images that they would become an historic collection. A massive project to improve the sea defences for the village in 2011 resulted in the removal of all the groynes in my favourite part of the beach. The book contains images now lost forever. I was invited to create an exhibition at the ADRIFT Gallery in Borth, in July & August 2011 - a great experience. See my website for more details www.maryshayler.com.
