The vast tunnels known as "les catacombes" were begun in Roman times, more than 2,000 years ago. Today they span an estimated 300 miles below Paris' picturesque streets, and contain the skeletal remains of some six million people.
Join me as I explore these ancient tunnels and see why the catacombs are known as The Empire of the Dead.
