A Year Behind the Lens was inspired by the desire to improve my images in collaboration with other photographers. Each of the photographers were looking for new ways to stretch their creativity. We decided to do a project for 52 weeks. The project framework involved capturing a new image each week. The subject could be our own choice. Each weekly image was shared with the other photographers. After the first couple of weeks, my regular photographic ideas were exhausted. That's when the true challenge began. I learned that producing a new image each week was an adventure in out of the box thinking.
A Year Behind The Lens was the first in the Year Behind the Lens Series by Carl R. Kriigel.
Be sure to check out the second book: Year Behind the Lens 2011, the third book: The Companion Book of Bonus Images from A Year Behind the Lens 2011, and other great photography books by Carl R. Kriigel.

Only the most daring of photographers would take on such a challenging project! Many were called, but few were able to achieve images that captured such diverse subjects. In this book, objects once thought mundane are transformed into startling photographs. Make haste! Add this book to your collection as soon as you possibly can, but remember this publication is not for those faint of heart photographers.
